A guide to short honeymoons, built on checked facts rather than lists of pretty pictures.

Mini Moon Guide is for couples planning a minimoon: a short honeymoon of a few nights, usually taken soon after the wedding. Most minimoon articles are lists of hotels with a line or two each. We wanted something more useful: which room to book, whether the hot tub is really yours, whether the spa is adults only, and whether the dog can come.
So far we have checked 58 hotels across the Lake District, the Cotswolds, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Wales, Scotland, and we are adding more regions. You can read how we check each one.
Where the facts come from
Every fact on a listing comes from the hotel's own website. Each listing links to the pages we read and shows the date we checked them. Where a hotel's website does not say something, we say it is not confirmed rather than guess.
Mini Moon Guide is responsible for everything we publish. If something is wrong, our corrections policy explains how to tell us and what we do about it.
